NordikMC is a Minecraft server run by one person from Quebec, Canada. We keep this short: we collect what the game and the website need to work, and nothing else. This page meets Quebec's Law 25.
When you play: your Minecraft username and UUID, your IP address, when you first and last connected, your playtime, whether you are on Java or Bedrock, your language setting, and your progress in the game. Chat, commands and block changes are logged so that moderation and grief rollbacks are possible.
If you make an account on nordikmc.com: a username, a password stored hashed, an email address, and the IP you signed in from. The website is optional. You can play without one.
On our Discord: whatever Discord shows any server owner. Discord runs that, not us.
We never ask for your real name, your address, your age or your phone number.
We run the server with it. That is the whole list. There is no advertising, no analytics tracking, no profiling, no automated decision about you, and we never sell or trade your information to anyone.
The website uses only what is strictly necessary: the cookie that keeps you signed in and the security cookies from Cloudflare. Nothing is set up to track or profile you, and nothing optional is on by default. The game server uses no cookies.
On one machine in Beauharnois, Quebec. Four things send information outside Quebec: Microsoft and Mojang, who verify that your account is real when you connect; Cloudflare, which protects the website; Discord, if you join it; and a third-party machine translation service in the United States, used when you click a chat message to read it in your language. That last one receives the text of the message only, with no username, UUID or IP attached. Treat public chat as public.
For as long as you play and a reasonable time after, so that bans hold and grief can be rolled back. The alpha world and everything in it is deleted at Season 1. Ask us to delete your information and we will, apart from a minimal record of a ban, which would otherwise be pointless. Database backups roll over on a 14 day cycle.
You can ask to see what we hold about you, get a copy of it, correct it, delete it, withdraw your consent, or have a human explain a decision. Write to support@nordikmc.com with your Minecraft username. We answer within 30 days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec at cai.gouv.qc.ca.
If you are under 14, a parent or guardian has to agree before you give us anything. Either of you can write to us any time to see what we hold or have it deleted, and we will not argue about it. Our Discord follows Discord's minimum age of 13.
